Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi quoted the first President of independent India Dr Rajendra Prasad, who said that India does not need anything but a group of 50 honest people who would keep the interest of the Nation above everything.

The Prime minister stated that their government has always tried to work within the limits set by the Constitution of India.

PM also spoke about the facility of digital life certificates which can now be given to senior citizens of the country, without visiting the banks and proving that they are alive.

PM spoke about the time when the Nation faced the Emergency and the Constitution faced major challenge.
