Madhya Pradesh High Court to hear PIL regarding Dhar Bhojshala controversy

The PILs going on in the Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court regarding the Dhar Bhojshala controversy to be heard on Tuesday.

One of these petitions has been filed by Hindu Front dimanding that Muslims should be immediately stopped from offering Namaz in Bhojshala and Hindus should be given the right to worship regularly.

It has been said in the petition that every Tuesday, Hindus purify the feast by performing Yagya in the banquet hall and on Friday, in the name of Namaz, Muslims pollute them by spitting in the same Yagya ponds.

After hearing the initial arguments of the petitioner, the High Court had issued a notice to the state government and the central government and other concerned parties in this matter and sought their response. It is expected that the reply of the concerned parties will be submitted today.

It is noteworthy that the Bhojshala dispute is centuries old. Hindus say that this is the temple of Goddess Saraswati. Centuries ago, Muslims violated its sanctity and built the tomb of Maulana Kamaluddin here. Even today, there are pictures of Gods and Goddesses and verses written in Sanskrit in Bhojshala.

The British had taken the statue of Vagdevi installed in the banquet hall to London. It has been said in the petition that Bhojshala is a place of worship for Hindus. In the name of Namaz, Muslims are working to remove remains inside the banquet hall.

In the petition, a demand has also been made for excavation and videography of the Bhojshala premises. 33 photographs are also attached with the petition. Apart from this petition, some other petitions regarding this matter are already going on in the High Court. The court is now hearing all these petitions together.
