Delhi Excise Policy case: Court denies interim bail to BRS leader K Kavitha

A Delhi court on Monday refused to grant interim bail to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for her alleged involvement in the Delhi excise policy case.

The order was pronounced by Special Judge (PC Act) Kaveri Baweja of the Rouse Avenue Courts, who reserved the verdict on April 4.

Kavitha was arrested on March 15 from her Banjara Hills residence in Hyderabad, hours after an ED team searched the premises and interrogated her. She is presently in judicial custody in Tihar Jail.
